Three months, one German bakery, and a lot of pretzels. Die BREZEL grew out of my experience working in a German bakery. Combining illustration, comics, observation, and personal stories, the book explores the everyday life of bakers and the craft of making pretzels. It was self-published and Riso-printed in an edition of 222 copies.
